Frontiers of Business Research in China (FBR, ISSN 1673-7326; e-ISSN 1673-7431; CN11-5746/F) will organize its 3rd International Symposium in conjunction with the School of Business, Renmin University of China, and Higher Education Press in Beijing, China on June 20-21, 2016. The Symposium cordially invites submission of original research papers and cases in all areas of business administration. Major areas of interest include but are not limited to: Accounting, Finance, Human resources, International business, Management information systems, Managerial economics, Marketing, Operations management, Organizational behavior, and Strategic management. The theme of the 2016 symposium is “Celebration of the Decade: Innovations in Business Administration, Emerging Markets, Global Perspectives” as we celebrate FBR’s 10th anniversary.

BEST PAPER AWARDS AND PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES: The Symposium will offer several Best Paper Awards, Young Scholar Best Paper Awards, and Best Case Study Awards. A selected set of papers and cases will be invited for publication consideration at the FBR. A round-table discussion will also be held between some journals’ editors, publishers, and symposium participants.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Interested authors should submit their papers either at the symposium’s website http://fbr.rbs.org.cn or by e-mail to fbr@rbs.org.cn by April 5, 2016. Please indicate if you would like your paper to be considered for publication at the FBR and the best paper awards. Authors of accepted papers will be notified by April 25, 2016. When submitting your work, please separate the title page and the main text into two files, and the title page of the manuscript indicating the name, affiliation, and contact information of the authors. There is no submission fee for both the Symposium and the FBR.  

REGISTRATION: Registration will start from April 15, 2016 at the FBR symposium’s website. Registered participants can attend the symposium and all social functions, which include tea breaks, two lunches, and a dinner. Participants should cover their own hotel and travel expenses.

ABOUT FBR: Created in 2007, FBR is a double-blind refereed quarterly journal in business research. FBR offers a multidisciplinary forum for academics, practitioners, and policy makers that focuses on business administration, and encourages interdisciplinary studies and interactions between Chinese and international researchers. FBR is abstracted and indexed in all major international databases including EconLit, INSPEC, SCOPUS, and ProQuest. According to the 2014 Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals, FBR was ranked 23rd in the “Highest International Impact Academic Journals of China” list, making itself a top 5% academic journal among 1,238 journals in humanities and social sciences in China.
