Opportunities, challenges and strategies for translational acupuncturology
摘要:Recently, the basic research of acupuncture is disjointed from clinical application seriously day by day, and ad¬vance in modern medicine requires objective evidence of acupuncturology with its effectiveness. While, translational medicine builds up a bridge for basic research and clinical application, which is a prolongation of evidence-based medicine. Thus, transla¬tional Acupuncturology was born. The rise of translational medicine is a double-edged sword for the development of Acupuncturology. On the one hand, it provides an excellent opportunity for its development; on the other hand, it sets an even higher demand and challenge. It is imperative to explore and develop Translational Acupuncturology in order to make it moderniza¬tion and internationalization.
