摘要:The completion of the first draft of the human genome has revolutionized the field of biomedical science. With the recent parallel developments in biotechnologies and widely use of electronic health records in clinical medicine, bioin-formatics as a science of dealing with biomedical data is becoming increasingly important in translating biological knowledge and medical intelligence to help clinical practice and health care. Here we will focus the review on the data resources from both basic biology and clinical medicine, and how bioinformatics can integrate relevant information to improve research and practice of translational medicine.
